Paul K. Hoffmeister is the Chief Economist of Bretton Woods Research LLC. Prior to joining Bretton Woods, he was the Director of Market Strategy and Chief Economist at Polyconomics from August 2004 to July 2006. Mr. Hoffmeister has had extensive experience in the markets, working for QuietLight Trading, LLC, trading derivatives on the S&P 500 at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, then on the KOSPI 200 Index on the Korean Stock Exchange. In 2003, he founded Georgetowne Fund Management Corporation and Georgetowne Funds (a mutual fund trust company), which launched in December 2003 the Georgetowne Long/Short Fund, an SEC-registered mutual fund. After internships with the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and the Council of Economic Advisers in Washington, D.C., Mr. Hoffmeister graduated Georgetown University with a BSBA in Accounting and Finance.
